We’re proud to share that Archita Biswas-our Bioinformatic scientist,  presented her research, “Development of a Next-Gen Metabolic Database for Therapeutic Cell Types,” at the International Conference on Systems Biology (ICSB 2025), held at the Royal Society in Dublin.

We had the chance to participate in the European Researchers' Night 2025 at NIBRT to share and talk about science. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with the public, answer questions, and share the excitement of research! 🌍🔬

We were pleased to welcome Minister James Lawless to our lab last Friday as part of the facilities tour. It was a great opportunity to showcase our research and the team’s efforts in contributing to the advancement of cell therapy manufacturing in Ireland!

BSEL is proud to host one of five students visiting NIBRT this summer from the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (JIB), as part of the final year of the NSF-funded International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) Programme.

BSEL has recently installed two cutting-edge instruments: the REBEL Cell Culture Media Analyzer for real-time media analysis and the RapidFire 400, which integrates ultrafast solid-phase extraction (SPE) with high-throughput mass spectrometry.
